About Gordon
Gordon joined Invited in August 2019. He joins us with a wealth of knowledge in the hospitality industry after working in executive and leadership roles with Disney, C&S Wholesale Grocers, Hawaiian Airlines, Hyatt, Hilton and Marriott. Gordon recently lived in Hawaii and now resides in Aliso Viejo. His passion lies in food and beverage, as well as creating and building an inclusive culture with his teams.

Holly has been with at Coto de Caza since 2009 where she started out at the Sports Club and now as one of the Clubs’ Membership Directors.Holly’s background is in hospitality, travel and private event production and sales.When she is not at the Club, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cheering on her son at his sporting events, hiking with her dogs, skiing, volunteering and finding time to improve her golf game.

About Rich
Rich joined Coto de Caza Golf & Racquet Club and the Invited family in August of 2021. Rich brings with him 27 years. of private club experience, including holding positions as a PGA Golf Professional, Membership Director, Assistant GM & General Manager. Rich is a Southern California native growing up in downtown Huntington Beach. His passion is watching his two girls Ava (11) & Olivia (19) play volleyball. He has been married to his wife Nicole for 23 years.

About Elizabeth
Liz has been at Coto de Caza for 12 years, spending 11 years in food and beverage as both front of the house and upper management. She always had a love for the event side of the operations and was excited when a position opened for her in the Private Events department. She values her relationships with members and clients and loves helping them bring their event vision to life.

About Colette
Colette joins us from the Resort at Pelican Hill, where she brings a keen eye for detail and focus on five-star caliber service. She attributes the majority of her hospitality & golf experience to Pelican Hill, managing Room Service, the hotel lobby Cafe & Market, Pelican Grill Restaurant, and the Beverage Cart & Golf Cafe operations. Colette was initially hired as the El Molino Food & Beverage Manager in 2021 but quickly assimilated into the operations and moved into the Assistant Food & Beverage Director role. Colette was first introduced to the food & beverage world while studying at UC Irvine for her bachelor's degree in Cognitive Psychology & Biological Sciences.

About Creston
Creston joined Invited in August 2021. He brings an enthusiastic experience in the hospitality industry after working with Disney, Marriot, MGM International, high-paced volume nightclubs and bars, and multiple chain restaurants. Creston was born and raised on the island of Oahu, HI. He recently lived in Las Vegas from 2018-2021 and now resides in Laguna Nigel.

About Kyle
Chef Kyle High’s career expands from major hotel brands such as Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt and the Kahala Hotel’s signature restaurant Hoku’s on the island of Oahu. His last position in Hawaii was at Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa where he oversaw the Banquet Department and opened Kawaa Luau, a signature luau experience at the Resort and was an active participant in Hawaii’s Food & Wine Festival on an annual basis. He then transferred to signature dining at Disneyland working in such places as Napa Rose, Carthay Circle and Club 33. Chef Kyle attended the James Beard House under the instruction of one of Hawaii’s award-winning chef Chai Chawasaree. He also has experience in-flight catering as he was part of Hawaiian Airlines culinary training team to help elevate meal experience.

About Ryan
Chef Ryan Thompson comes to us from Marriott and previously worked with Chef Kyle at Disneyland Resort where I started his culinary career. He spent 12 years at Disney where he learned most of his culinary skills. He has a passion for the culinary arts and he hopes to bring his knowledge of cooking and creativity to Coto and focus on providing unforgettable and memorable experiences. When he’s not in the kitchen, Ryan loves spending time with his wife and two children cheering on his favorite baseball team, the Anaheim Angels.
Roger Goettsch

About Roger
Roger began his career in Golf Course Maintenance in Iowa. He was exposed to Golf in grade school where his passion for the game of Golf began. He watched Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and Gary Player on TV and wanted to be a professional golfer. As a junior and senior in high school Roger helped build and maintain a local 9-hole golf course. After high school, he acquired a BS in turf management from Iowa State University while doing an internship at Des Moines Golf & Country Club. Since College, Roger has worked on several projects in Texas, Thailand, Indonesia, India and China. He hosted the PGA Tour Shell Houston Open 2004-2008 and has spent time working at a few other Top Golf Clubs in Texas. Most recently, Roger worked for Shanqin Bay in Hainan China, during his tenure the course became # 39 in the World Top 100 Golf Courses. A native of Chicago, Illinois, Rick has been playing golf since the age of 15 and has been in the golf industry for over 35 years.Rick began his career in golf at Oakmont Country Club in Glendale, California. After spending four years at Oakmont, he moved to Rio Hondo Country Club located in Downey, California in 1982. In 1990, he became the director of golf at Porter Valley Country Club in Northridge, California. In 1999, Rick became the director of golf at Coto de Caza Golf & Racquet Club.Rick is married with two children.

About Alex
Born and raised in Southern California, Alex played Varsity HS Golf at Aliso Niguel HS. He also played 2 years at Saddleback Community College. Alex graduated from the Golf Academy of America in 2012 with a BA in Golf Complex and Operations. He has done work with the First Tee of America, OC Chapter for 2 years and obtained his Level 2 certification. Alex achieved his Class-A PGA and was elected to membership in February 2020.

About Blake
Blake is an integral part of the player development program at Coto de Caza building the first Academy at the facility. Blake is a results based coach that guarantees changes in his students game. With use of many different technologies like Trackman and Video Analysis, Blake develops your skills to becoming more comfortable to shooting low scores on the golf course. Blake is a Top 100 GRAA Teacher in America, Top 50 US Kids Master Teacher and serves on the SCPGA Teaching Committee and Player Development Committee.

About Shelly
Shelly is from Corona, CA and has over 6 years of experience in the fitness industry. He has experience as the Fitness Director for gyms such as EOS Fitness and The Edge Fitness Clubs.
Shelly's Almer Mater is Arizona State University (2008 - 2012) where he got a Bachelor's in criminal justice studies.
He played professional football for the Miami Dolphins and Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian League. He was a linebackers coach at Nebraska University.
His hobbies include working out, eating, and traveling. Shelly's wife, Saige is a professor of Biology at Chapman University.

About Yvette
Yvette Rubio is a National Certified Personal Trainer through the National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association (NESTA), and a Certified Group Fitness instructor through the Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years. She teaches various Group Fitness Formats, including Total Body Conditioning, Spin and Stretch classes. As a Personal Trainer, she enjoys designing effective goal-specific training programs that are motivating and challenging to achieve optimal results. She loves guiding her clients through their fitness journeys, and strongly believes in providing a safe and uplifting environment, whether it be with clients one-on-one or in a group setting. She is passionate about fitness and dedicated to helping people achieve their goals
Greg Holmes

About Greg
Greg is a certified ATP Teaching Professional and played on the Association of Tennis Professional tour (ATP) for eight (8) years reaching a high singles ranking of #22 in the world. Greg Played in all 4 Grand Slams and was a member of the US Davis Cup Team
in 1983. Greg was a Semi-finalist at Pilot Penn Classic in La Quinta, Semi-finalist at the Seiko Super Tennis Honolulu, Hawaii and reached the Round of 16 for three (3) straight years at the U.S. Open at Flushing Meadows. Greg won the NCAA Singles Championships and won the Pan American Singles Championships Gold Medal. Greg’s accolades include being inducted into the University of Utah Crimson Club Hall of Fame in 2006, inducted into Northern California Tennis Hall of Fame in 2007, and inducted into the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Hall of Fame 2009 and received the ITCA/NCAA Head Collegiate Player of the year award in 1983. Greg earned a BA degree from the University of Utah in 1995.

About David
David has spent most of his life in the water, as he has been swimming and coaching for over 30 years. As an athlete, he swam for Santa Barbara Swim Club and then was a scholarship athlete at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. David came to the Coto Golf & Racquet Club in 2015 as the Aquatics Director and Head Coach of the Coto Coyote Swim team. He is a level 4 ASCA Certified Coach and a certified personal trainer. David has a passion for sports and helping all members build the skills and confidence to reach their goals.
